Rush’s Operation Chaos is not what it seems!

rushIn an effort to disrupt the Democratic primary, comedian Rush Limbaugh has asked his listeners to cross party lines and to vote for Hillary Clinton, and with the huge number of newly registered Democratic voters it seemed as if his plan was actually working. That was until the actual numbers started to emerge.

Of Republicans that have crossed over, the majority have in fact not been voting for Hillary Clinton but rather for Barack Obama. This reality has shed a new light on Operation Chaos as something that is not intended to inject disruption as much as it is something to cover up a nasty Republican secret.

What is that secret? It is that a majority Republicans are just as fed up with the course that the county, as Democrats are, and that Republicans are looking for a real substantial change for the country, the kind of change that is only being offered by Barack Obama.

It now appears that Operation Chaos is nothing more than a cover up and a weapon of mass distraction to hide the fact that Republicans are leaving the Republican Party in record numbers. Why Republicans are leaving the party isn’t that much of a shock. They like the majority of Democrats are disgusted with Republican policy that has derailed the US economy.

Then there is Iraq, which is a threat that has been manufactured by the administration for reasons know only to them, and has only succeeded in making a tiny minority very, very rich.

Are there Republicans crossing over to cause chaos as Rush has ordered? Sure there is. But that number pales in comparison to the number of Republicans who are crossing over because they are worried abut where the country is headed, and who fear where four more years of Republican rule will take the country next (think Iran).

When we face the fact that it is the sons and daughters of both Republican and Democrats that are dieing in Iraq it becomes clear that Americans have a common cause and a common candidate.

Operation Chaos for all the concern it has caused isn’t anything but the delusions of one man who has proven himself to be nothing but the mouth piece of the money elite who care only about the retention of power and profit at all costs.

Whether Rush will be brought up on charges because of his attempt at voter tampering, remains to be seen. At the very least Operation Chaos demonstrates how Rush and those like him feel about the sanctity of the vote and democracy, something inconveniently in the way.
