“Free Lunch” the book the wealthiest among us don’t want you to read!

lunch2Well it’s not likely to make Oprah’s book club, but this is one book that every American definitely should read. “Free Lunch, How The Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves At Government Expense (And Stick You With The Bill),” by Davis Cay Johnston, is a flawless explanation of how the laws have been manipulated to benefit and enrich the wealthiest among us.

We’ve all heard terms like corporate welfare, deregulation and tax subsidies, but how few of us know what those terms actually entail or how they affect the lives of the average American. “Free Lunch” not only explains these types of terms, but shows how they work to enrich a select few while passing the burden onto poor and middle class tax payers.

“Free Lunch” is a victory for America, not only because of the fraud and abuses it exposes, but also because it does so in a way that makes it easy for anyone to understand.

In writing “Free Lunch” Johnston, a master investigative reporter, has created a well crafted and well sited argument of how the Government’s attention has shifted from the poor and middle class and has been refocused to the benefit to the country’s wealthiest citizens.

More than just an expose, “Free Lunch” is in many ways a call to action, for as Mr. Johnston said himself, “Where is the moral argument to enrich Donald Trump or Warren Buffet with your tax dollars?”

Anyone who reads “Free Lunch” is bound to be infuriated with what they read, but they will also feel great appreciation that there are still public watchdogs like David Cay Johnston on the job for the American people. An activity that seems all but non-existent with most media outlets

“Free Lunch” is not a political book. There is no political spin to the left or right. It is a book for anyone who is concerned about this country and what has been happening to the American dream.

If you read only one book this year, make it “Free Lunch, How The Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves At Government Expense (And Stick You With The Bill).”
