The Fourth of July is almost here, and warm weather is here along with everything else that it brings with it. Whether you enjoy barbecues, time spent with family and friends, or just relaxing after a long week at work, almost everyone can find common ground in one enduring tradition: fireworks. Here are some great places to see fireworks if you’ll be in the Cleveland area this Independence Day.
First Energy July 4th Fireworks: The First Energy Fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday in the Flats at 9:45pm. The best places to see it are at the Nautica Pavilion or Shooters. Even if you don’t plan on being downtown, here are some other places to see fireworks.
Akron: Saturday at 9:45pm, at Lock 3.
Alliance: Saturday at dusk, in Silver Park.
Avon: Saturday at dusk, at Miller Road Park.
Bay Village: Saturday at dusk, in Cahoon Memorial Park.
Berea: Saturday at dusk, on Coe Lake.
Bratenahl: Saturday at dusk, in Bratenahl Village Park. The rain date will be on Sunday, July 5 in the same location.
Conneaut: Sunday at 10pm, at Conneaut Lakeview Park.
Eastlake: Saturday at 10pm, at Classic Park Stadium.
Garfield Heights: Saturday at dusk, near the City View Center.
Independence: Friday at dusk, in Elmwood Park. The rain date will be on Sunday, July 5.
Lakewood: Saturday at 9:45pm, in Lakewood Park.
Lorain: Saturday at dusk, at Lakeside Landing.
Medina: Friday at dusk, at Medina Senior High School.
Mentor: Saturday at dusk, at the Civic Center Amphitheater.
North Ridgeville: Party in the Park starts at 6pm on Friday, and the fireworks will start at dusk in South Central Park.
Oberlin: Saturday at dusk, near Splash Zone on Hamilton Street.
Orrville: Saturday at 10pm, in Orr Park.
Put-in-Bay: Saturday at 10pm, at Perry’s Monument.
Sandusky: Saturday at 10pm, at the Sandusky Waterfront.
Solon: Saturday at dusk, at the Solon Community Park.
Westlake: Saturday at dusk, at Clague Park.
Wickliffe: Saturday at dusk, at Coulby Park.
Willoughby: Saturday at 9:45pm, at South High School.
